| Central Bank Liquidity Tools Conference On February 19-20, 2009, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host a conference that brings together academics, market participants, and policymakers to discuss the tools central banks use to provide liquidity to financial institutions and markets. The submission deadline is October 20, 2008. |
| 2008 Money and Payments Workshop: Implementing Monetary Policy This year’s annual Money and Payments Workshop will focus on monetary policy implementation, that is, the process by which central banks affect interest rates and, ultimately, the level of prices and general economic activity. The purpose of the workshop is to bring together academics and other researchers this issue and other new developments in monetary and payments economics. |
