Macroeconomics, Money and Banking
Todd Keister is a Research Officer in the Money and Payments Studies Function of the Research and Statistics Group. He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University and a B.S. from Duke University. Prior to joining the bank, Mr. Keister was a professor at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City. His recent research has focused on banking crises, coordination failures in financial markets, and the effects of government intervention during times of financial crisis.
