  1. Tours must be booked in advance. Available times will appear blue on the calendar (i.e. unavailable times will appear gray on the calendar). There is no waiting list or “walk-ins” for the New York Fed tour.
  1. Spam filter settings may affect the receipt of follow-up e-mails. To decrease this possibility, please allow e-mails to be received from ny.frb.org.
  1. A reservation number will be sent to the e-mail address provided. Reservations must be confirmed within 72 hours of requesting the tour or it will automatically be canceled.
  1. All adult visitors (18 years and older) must present a valid photo ID, such as driver’s license or passport. Individuals under eighteen (18) years of age must be accompanied by their parent or other supervising adult.
  1. All visitors will undergo security screening upon arrival. Please plan on arriving at the Bank 20–30 minutes before your scheduled visit to allow time for security clearance and check-in.
  1. Firearms, explosives, hazardous materials, lethal weapons, illegal drugs and any other dangerous items, including pocket knives, are prohibited on Bank premises. Metal detectors and x-ray equipment are used to enforce this policy. Any person entering and any purse, briefcase, or other items brought on the premises are subject to being scanned and/or physically inspected.
  1. Please follow the instructions of the protection officers and tour guides.
  1. Cameras and phones may not be used inside the building. If used, the cameras or phones may be confiscated.
  1. Food and drinks are not permitted in the building.
  1. All bags (including purses, backpacks, etc.), packages and electronics must be stored in locked closets prior to the start of the tour.
  1. The Bank reserves the right to refuse or dismiss any visitor for misconduct.
  1. Tours are given in English only. Visitors may provide their own translators.
  1. FOR SCHOOL GROUPS AND YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS ONLY: One chaperone is required for every nine students. Students must be at least 16 years old or juniors in high school.
